The politically determined mind is diabolically adept at rationalizing any behavior necessary to maintain the delusion of moral integrity while engaging in even the most grotesque and reprehensible crimes against humanity. Crimes like infanticide have become acceptable to the general population through sophistry, rhetoric and desensitization. What is the next moral low for a society that no longer values life above all else?
